Healing Questions

I found this really cool and intresting.....I got this off of 4 Haelz Blog

http://4haelz.blogspot.com

* What is the name, class, and spec of your primary healer?
Delleyntar Night Elf Resto Druid.

* What is your primary group healing environment? (i.e. raids, pvp, 5 mans)
During the week I do everything, my guild does 25 man everything (With the exception of OS, and Naxx and we havent started working on toGc Yet.) We do all 10 mans (toGc as well)[But no naxx and OS) I constantly do the Daily and pretty much any instance my guild needs me for.

* What is your favorite healing spell for your class and why?
Rejuvination. Its a great spell, a good HoT, and at the moment, with the T9 4 piece set bonus (or even the 8.5 set bonus) and the Idol, it makes it pretty much the best spell to use IMO.

* What healing spell do you use least for your class and why?
Would hafta be Healing touch. I never ever use it. Takes too long. Yes it will heal for over 10k but I when need a heal for over 10k I just use Natures Swiftness, Regrowth and Swiftmend. Makes for a great heal over 10k and leaves a lasting HoT.

* What do you feel is the biggest strength of your healing class and why?
Depends on the Situation. We have HoTs, and even tho that doesnt match to lets say, Flash of Light, the Amount of what it Ticks for equals to the same. We are great raid healers, so any splash damage the DPS is taking can be covered through simple HoTs. As far as if your Tank Healing; Nourish is a great spell, that i would say is equal to Flash Heal. It takes Less than a second to cast (Depending on your haste) and it can heal for 5k all the way up to 14k. And if it crits (which 80% of the time it does) it plants a living seed (assuming your specced into living seed) which then would heal that person on the next damage done, and leaves you to place more HoTs with out having to spam Nourish!

* What do you feel is the biggest weakness of your healing class and why?
Lack of Burst Healing. I find that sometimes spaming nourish is not enough, Using NS with any bigger heal, sometimes isnt enough. Also....Dieseses, We need to be able to cleanse Diesese, and not being able to kills me lol.

* In a 25 man raiding environment, what do you feel, in general, is the best healing assignment for you?
Raid Healing.

* What healing class do you enjoy healing with most and why?
Well since this is my Only class I've every really played so Druid :D

* What healing class do you enjoy healing with least and why?
None, Only played a Druid.

* What is your worst habit as a healer?
Forgetting to use Wild Growth everytime its on cooldown, But its so minor i dont really worry too much.

* What is your biggest pet peeve in a group environment while healing?
People blaming me for not healing them, when OBVIOUSLY you were standing in the fire. Dude, Im not a priest i can't levitate you, And even if i could.....You should be moving out of the fire anyways.....

If you don't move and i cant heal you intime, instead of blaming me i now have a nifty new macro:

%t {skull} FIRE HURTS IT BURNS THE SOUL {skull}

* Do you feel that your class/spec is well balanced with other healers for PvE healing?
I would say so XD

* What tools do you use to evaluate your own performance as a healer?
I would use Recount, I look at the list, at the other healers, Our HPS, who healed who, and for how much, etc.

* What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about your healing class?
That we arent good tank healers. Lemme respec my raid healing spec and i can out heal any pally :p

* What do you feel is the most difficult thing for new healers of your class to learn?
what heal to use and when. Many druids, just turning 80, rely on MMO Champ or other places where they talk about Endgame Game healing, and they rely on just rejuve and WG and think they are fine, But if you dont have the gear that will crit up your Rejuve, then that method isnt going to work for you. I think also breaking out of the healing touch habit. I knew alot of new druids who still used Healing touch, and while leveling, its a good one to have, still its not effective in end game healing, and i notice alot of those Druids still trying to break out of that habit.

* If someone were to try to evaluate your performance as a healer via recount, what sort of patterns would they see (i.e. lots of overhealing, low healing output, etc)?
Overhealing for one, but with HoTs ticking even at full health, theres no way around it....For druids, and for any healing class for that matter it really depends on the fight. 3 Phase anub, your healing just enough to keep people at 50% and that really takes a toll on your healing as far as meters go.

* Haste or Crit and why?
Both....Yes i said it BOTH. as a druid right now the soft cap for haste is at 500 and with patch 3.3 i heard its going to be over 800. SO i most def want to keep my haste. BUT you still want to be over 20% crit for the sake of your living seed proccing and in general all and all crit yummyness

* What healing class do you feel you understand least?
well grouping with all sorts of classes i get the jist of them all but i still cant grasp the holy pally classes

* What add-ons or macros do you use, if any, to aid you in healing?
Grid, Grid status HoTs, Clique. those are the main Healing Add-ons

and Macros none, i have fun macros but nothing relevant to healing.

* Do you strive primarily for balance between your healing stats, or do you stack some much higher than others, and why?
I see my self stacking more on SP then anything. Before i tried having a balance because i wasnt haste capped but now since my gear alone gives me the haste i need i see my self popping all the spell power i get my branches on XD
